Sunset cruises and pampering spa treatments await travelers to Grand Lido Resort & Spa in Negril, Jamaica. The all-inclusive resort faces Bloody Bay and 200 yards of sandy white beach. The resort is 55 miles west of Montego Bay and approximately 90 minutes from the Montego Bay Airport.
Spacious grounds display mango trees, flowering gardens, and striking tropical ambiance. Guests are greeted with a champagne toast and rose-scented towels as they marvel at the enormous marble lobby. By day, Grand Lido Negril is an active, outdoor playground, with spirited island music, live entertainment, spectacular tennis and an endless array of water sports like windsurfing, snorkeling and kayaking. Isolated from the rest of the resort is a clothing-optional beach. Guests interested in escaping the hot sun enjoy backgammon, dominoes and table tennis. A library of books and magazines is available for leisurely reading. Guests enjoy afternoon tea and croquet lessons, and watch movies in the on-site video theater. Three bars offer entertainment ranging from jazz, piano music and dancing until dawn. The conference room seats 200 persons (classroom style,) and flip charts, audiovisual systems and a podium are provided on request. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style on the main terrace, and Café Lido serves delicious regional specialties for intimate dinners. The spa and fitness center occupy small, wood-shingled-roof buildings around an open-air pavilion sheltering a 12- foot-diameter plunge pool and teak lounge chairs. One building contains a sauna and a steam room.
Guestrooms and spacious suites offer balconies with views of the ocean or gardens, sunken living areas, stocked refrigerators and bathrooms with glass showers and fluffy bathrobes.
Grand Lido Negril is a sun-drenched playground for romantic couples, featuring countless activities and superior amenities.
