The Couples Swept Away Negril is a deluxe resort located on the beautiful seven mile beach in Negril, 60 miles from Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. Couples Swept Away Negril offers the intimacy of a private villa and the romantic ambiance of a tropical hideaway. Mind and body are soothed by the warm waters and even warmer welcome you will find there. From scuba diving and sailing to spa treatments and yoga, this is an environment that will restore, refresh and invigorate. This all-inclusive experience includes unlimited meals, unlimited premium brand drinks, a wonderful fruit and veggie bar and an endless array of land-sports, water sports and off-site excursions. There are ten lighted tennis courts, a 10-acre sports and fitness complex.
The resort features 134 Caribbean-style verandah suites, housed in 26 two story villas spread throughout the beachfront setting. Imagine a lush tropical garden with suites amid fragrant foliage where wooden shutters filter the light into your spacious bedroom. Outside your private verandah provides an ideal spot for relaxation. The verandah suites are open and breezy, yet secluded and intimate. All of the suites are air-conditioned, appointed with fine furnishings, hair dryers and a private verandah. Each suite is equipped with bathtub, his & her slippers, fully stocked mini-bar, iron/board, continental room service, private balcony and nightly turndown service.
The Couples Swept Away resort's policy does not allow same sex couples to share the same accommodations. This resort caters to male-female couples only.
An all-inclusive stay at this hotel includes accommodations and taxes, all meals, drinks, gratuities, and activities (plus a trip to Margaretville and The Jungle) in your nightly rate. Please note that Activities marked by ** are charged a per couple per day fee after the first two sessions are fulfilled. Activities marked * are charged an hourly fee per couple for private instructions after the initial session is fulfilled.
*Cancellations for travel December 26, 2005 - January 1, 2005 will result in full forfeiture of hotel stay (no refund).
Construction :
The Construction in at the far end of the property and is shielded by 4 unfinished room blocks so there shouldn't be much of and interruption to our guests. we are constructing a "Great House" which when completed will include the following air-conditioned areas:
-A new Feathers Restaurant, featuring a wine bar.
-A Nightclub/Jazz Bar/ Disco- Depending on the time of day and day of week.
-A 4500 Sq Ft. Conference/ Wedding reception Center.
-A Game Room.
-An Internet Cafe.
On the 2nd and 3rd Levels, they will be adding an additional 20 Suites overlooking the new pool and ocean, 4 of which will be large Jr. Suites with private jacuzzi. This will also include a large open-air ala carte restaurant with a visible "Show" kitchen. This restaurant will look onto the pool deck leading to an infinity pool, with two large jacuzzis and a swim up bar. A beach grill will front the beach next to the pool bar. Estimated completion date of December 2005.

Hurricane Dennis did NO damage to the hotel and it is business as usual.
